It may be a conflict with windows firewall or windows defender but I doubt it or you'd have this problem recurring all the time. I am using win 10 64 bits - all other security softwares have been deactivated or cleanly uninstalled. So the glitch is definitely coming from the panda install. Restarted and bam, my internet connection is back to normal. Program and features in windows => uninstall.

So, this time, instead of restoring I just uninstalled panda as I would have normally. Turned windows firewall off just in case. So I went into the network proxy settings to switch it to manual instead of auto, leaving the settings themselves empty as I don't use any kind of proxy. Windows troubleshooting gives me the same reason again: cannot resolve the network proxy automatically. Which is really weird as I am connected via LAN to a router to my home network. As soon as the software was installed, my internet connection got killed again. I then installed panda again, this time the online installer worked flawlessly. I had to force uninstall bitdefender again, using their tool. But other software were affected which created a mess. So I restored my HDD to a previous date, before I installed panda. When I did a troubleshoot with windows it said that windows couldn't resolve the network proxy automatically. Installation worked great but it killed my home network connection (no hardware firewall, no proxy). It hung during download and had to restart my rig to cancel the install. Then installed panda using the online installer first. I did a clean uninstall of bitdefender using their tool.

But I've run into a problem that I can't seem to fix by myself. Made the switch from bitdefender after reading a few reviews.
